The problem

Most accessibility info isn't built for you.

  • Information you can't trust

Venues self-report accessibility, and often get it wrong. You arrive, you can't get in, you go home.

  • One-size-fits-nobody

Existing apps focus on wheelchair access. Vision, hearing, sensory, cognitive, and chronic illness needs get ignored.

  • Reviews without lived experience

Generic review sites don't know what "accessible bathroom" actually means. People who use mobility aids do.

Our approach

Built with the community.
Not for them.

Four principles that shape everything we build.

  1. Principle 1: Lived experience first

Every feature is validated with PWD before we build it. No guessing, no assumptions.

  2. Principle 2: All seven disability categories

Mobility, vision, hearing, cognitive, mental health, autism, chronic illness. Equal weight, equal depth.

  3. Principle 3: Verified, not vibed

Community reviews plus anti-fake-review verification. You see real accessibility, not marketing.

  4. Principle 4: Free for users. Always.

Businesses pay for listings. Users never do. The data belongs to the community.

Who we are

We're early.
We're honest
about that.

Roam Access comes from a team that has spent years working in the disability sector in Australia, watching people struggle with accessibility information that was wrong, missing, or only built for one type of disability. We've been thinking about this for a long time. Now we're building it properly, slowly, with the community shaping every decision.

Currently validating the product with PWD across Australia. If you want to be part of that, take the survey or get in touch.
